When in Rome… Dieter, the producer and owner of Hoffmann-Simon, makes Riesling like you should. It’s fresh, high acidity, lots of aroma nuances, steep slopes at the Mosel river as well as plantings on the valley, low intervention, fruity and deep.
He makes both the easy drinking Rieslings, the sweet and the ones with more depth. He’s placed in the middle of Mosel, Piesport. He has other plantings as well, but the focus, as it should be, is Riesling.
